We will operate legally and ethically at all times. We do not divulge your personal details to any third party without your consent.

We reserve the right to use any artwork sent on our web site or in promotional material unless specifically asked not to.

We respect your consumer rights and legal protection under the data-protection act.

By ordering from raceycakes.co.uk you agree to pay us in UK sterling for a cake to be delivered or collected on a specified date. Our payment card handlers will deduct payment in the local currency, e.g. US Dollars etc.

The cake will be delivered by one of Raceycakes.co.uk’s Drivers. We will not grant a refund if we are unable to deliver due to absence at the delivery address on the order form. If the recipient is absent our Drivers will do their absolute best to leave the cake in a safe place, usually with a Neighbour. The responsibility is with the customer to arrange redelivery or collection and we cannot accept liability for late delivery.

We reserve the right to change the products and colours from the pictures shown if necessary. The colours are matched closely but are not pantones; this is an edible product after all. Please note different cake decorators have different styles so slight variations in decoration style are possible and we are not liable to replace products due to this personalisation. Our cakes are handmade and not mass produced so each cake is individual to you; this is what makes them so special. The web site pictures are a guide but the final product may vary slightly.

Cancellations made with more than 7 days’ notice from the delivery date will be charged a 20% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs. Cancellations made with more than 3 days’ notice from the delivery date will be charged a 50% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs. Cancellations made within 3 days of the delivery date will not be accepted. For immediate cancellations (within an hour of completion) a £7 cancellation fee will apply.

In the unlikely event that your cake is incorrect, this must be bought to our attention straight away. Call us straight away on 07776250929. If time allows and it is our mistake we will do our absolute best to correct any errors made. As we are based in Ossett, Wakefield, any error is fixable if we are given enough notice.

If you are at all unhappy with the taste of the cake, please keep a sample so that it can be tested. Complaints will have to be made within 2 days of the cake cutting. Arrangements will be made for the cake to be recollected.

We can only offer a refund as a gesture of goodwill if the cake has not been consumed and our investigations confirm the cake not to be of our normally high standard or we cannot rectify a mistake made. We will only consider issues with your order if notified within 48 hours of delivery.
